Based on Josef Kafkas novel of the same name, The Trial was re-written for the screen by Orson Welles he also directed and starred in the movie. It is a strange dystopian tale of a man named Josef K (Anthony Perkins) who finds himself on trial for some unknown crime despite his best efforts to uncover the charges against him.
